The John Lewis Voting Rights Act ("JL Act") is the latest Democrat attempt to rig America's elections to their desired outcomes. Having garnered the support of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), and with support voiced from squishy moderate Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), the JL Act takes HR 1 (S 1/S 2093) to a new low. It's far worse than HR 1!

We must continue to speak out loud and clear!

The JL Act is the latest version of the election fraud bill congressional Democrats keep trying to pass. But the "preclearance" provisions within the JL Act are even worse than the earlier versions, HR 1 (S 1/S 2093). Under preclearance, every minor detail of an election is stripped from state and local officials, instead delivering the most minute decisions solely to Joe Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ).

Even a decision as minor as moving a voting area from a school library into the school gym would need to be preapproved by Biden's Deep State DOJ.

Under preclearance, not only will Biden's DOJ be able to veto important state election integrity laws like requiring voter ID, they can even apply preclearance to laws restricting abortion!

In 2019, then-Senator Kamala Harris had the gall to propose using preclearance as a way to stop states from imposing limits on abortion. Any state or local measure that might be perceived to restrict abortion would need to be approved in advance by the DOJ.

Such sentiments are even more disturbing now that Harris is vice president, as they indicate a willingness to do whatever is necessary to impose the radical Marxist/socialist agenda upon everyone.

Preclearance is a naked power grab aimed at destroying states' rights and putting Joe Biden's government in charge of everything.

The JL Act will put Biden's radical DOJ employees in charge of all aspects of local elections. Important state-led election integrity measures--like requiring voter ID, purging the dead from voter rolls and allowing poll watchers--can and will be vetoed by the Biden administration.

Considering that the Biden DOJ tried to stop the 2020 recounts and rails against states passing voter ID laws, we can safely assume election integrity reform laws will be overruled by a federal preclearance law.

As I wrote earlier, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made clear that Democrats must pass this bill in order to usher in gun control and the rest of her radical agenda.

In a past case where the DOJ exercised preclearance over a particular state, the Deep State DOJ attorneys objected to a city's annexation of a portion of a county because it added TWO WHITE VOTERS to the precinct. This micromanagement is insane!

Passage of the JL Act will cement Democrat power over America. Once in control of all elections, they will implement their radical Marxist/socialist agenda without interference from pesky congressional Republicans who might otherwise block their schemes.

We must stop this bill. Sen. Manchin cut a deal with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to get his support. Squishy Murkowski has also voiced support.

The prosecution was begun by Kamala Harris and carried on by Xavier Beccera (now secretary of Health and Human Services). We are now preparing for a several-month criminal trial later this year.
