Resources and Benefits for Churches


Liberty Counsel works collaboratively with churches of all denominations consistent with our mission to advance our shared values. 

Cooperative churches are churches whose doctrinal beliefs are consistent with the historic teachings of Christianity as set forth in the Liberty Counsel Doctrinal Statement, and affirm support for the mission of Liberty Counsel. Liberty Counsel's Founder and Chairman is Mat Staver, who also serves as Senior Pastor. 

When your church joins, we ask that you prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you contribute to this ministry. Many churches choose to put Liberty Counsel in their regular or missions budget.

Cooperative churches may receive many benefits:

  • Model bylaws and policies

  • Education, training and resources for leadership and congregants

  • Counsel regarding hiring, retention and termination of staff, zoning, facilities use, equal access issues, evangelism, missions and counseling

  • Legal representation specific to our mission to advance religious freedom, the sanctity of human life and the family. Your situation will be evaluated by an attorney. We cannot guarantee acceptance of any case without evaluating the facts.

  • Invitation to participate with our Faith & Liberty missionary outreach to the nation’s capital, in special events in Washington, D.C. such as National Day of Prayer, Capitol Bible Reading Marathon, and Live Nativity at the Supreme Court

  • Invitation for staff and members to join Liberty Prayer Network to access a 24/7 intercessory prayer line

  • Recommendation for training and outreach to children through opportunities with Child Evangelism Fellowship’s Good News Clubs

  • Missionary Mobilization program for missionaries to serve their churches

  • Access to our Holy Land tour program

  • Training on worldview, equal access, civic engagement, religious liberty, sanctity of human life, the family and more

Christian School Affiliate Options

Cooperative Churches now have four options to provide K-12 Christian education. All four options include online courses taught by Covenant Journey Academy (CJA) certified teachers. The Facilitation, School Enhancement, and Custom New School options are hybrid models wherein you provide onsite facilities.
