The persecution of this student came about as the result of an assignment for which the student wrote an article expressing an opinion in favor of natural mother-father adoption. 

The 15-year-old student who wrote the article was subjected to the public humiliation of having his article censored and was also threatened by school officials who claimed he was engaged in “bullying” merely for expressing his opinion and quoting the Bible.
