The United States Senate is expected to vote on Judge Alito's nomination to the United States Supreme Court as soon as Monday. The New York Times ran an op-ed urging Senators to filibuster the Alito nomination. Reportedly, Senator Kerry is trying to organize enough votes for a filibuster. Attorneys Needed for Public Education Employment Law Network

Liberty Counsel is looking for one or more attorneys in each of the 50 states who either have some familiarity with, or who are willing to learn, law regarding the public employment of teachers, faculty and administrators. We are creating a network of attorneys versed in this particular area of law who can give advice to public school teachers and administrators regarding employment or contract disputes. Time spent on any matter will be covered by an insurance policy from an organization that Liberty Counsel has teamed up with to create this network of attorneys. The purpose is to be able to provide teachers and public school administrators with an alternative, so that they do not have to join the National Education Association in order to receive adequate representation.
