Liberty University School of Law Scores Highest Bar Pass Rate in Virginia

Liberty University School of Law ranked number one among all Virginia law schools for the July bar exam. 

Liberty University School of Law first-time takers on the July bar exam passed by a rate of 93.33 percent. Coming in second place was Washington & Lee University at 91.49 and the University of Virginia at 89.58.

To achieve the number one rank for the July bar exam in a state that has multiple top-tier law schools is an amazing accomplishment,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.

 Staver was part of the founding of Liberty University School of Law and served as Dean from May 2006 to the end of 2014. Staver led the law school through full accreditation status from the American Bar Association on August 5, 2010, and also led the law school to reaffirmation of full accreditation on October 16, 2014. The law school is now on a seven-year reaffirmation cycle.
