Liberty Counsel stands with pastors and church leaders.  In 2012, we distributed nearly 100,000 copies of “Silence is Not an Option,” a DVD and book to educate pastors of their right to speak biblical truth.

The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), the largest Hispanic association with 40,118 evangelical Hispanic churches, named Liberty Counsel as the senior sponsor of its Life Directive. Liberty Counsel and Liberty Counsel Action will also become the legislative and policy arm of the NHCLC.

Liberty Counsel successfully defended a Florida pastor from a Miami-Dade school district superintendent who threatened to rescind the church’s lease because the pastor preached the Biblical truth on homosexuality

Liberty Counsel defended the rights of evangelists to set up clubs in public schools. We also are defending a Massachusetts pastor sued under international “war crimes,” solely because he preached about homosexuality and abortion in Uganda.

• Tax rates are scheduled to increase in 2013.

• Capital gains rates are likely to rise from 15% to a yet-to-be-determined level.

• The likelihood of charitable tax deductions being restricted or reduced in 2013.

• The $5 million lifetime gift and $5.12 million estate tax exemptions are scheduled to decrease to $1 million each in January 2013.
