Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver will be joined by other leading conservative figures, including Sean Hannity, Newt Gingrich, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Jim DeMint, Gov. Bob McDonnell, Tony Perkins, and many others, for the 2010 Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC. Beginning on Friday, September 17th, and continuing through the 19th, the Summit will be held at the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel and will be streamed live at http://www.afa.net/vvs. While the Summit is cosponsored by several organizations, the primary sponsor is the Family Research Council.
Participants in the Values Voter Summit will also have the opportunity to participate in a 2012 Presidential Straw Poll, which is an early indicator of which candidates have the momentum among pro-family activists as we approach the 2012 elections. The Summit will kick off with a breakfast Friday morning co-hosted by Liberty Counsel and Liberty University, which is also a cosponsor of the Summit. Mat Staver will moderate a panel discussion during the breakfast to discuss the Millennial Generation. On Friday night, Liberty University will host a Town Hall interactive session for youth entitled, “Voice of Young America.” Americans are looking for real hope, real change and real freedom.
