Judge Rejects ACLU’s Motion to Reopen Class Action Against Kim Davis

Oct 26, 2015

On Monday, Federal District Judge David Bunning denied ACLU’s motion to reopen its request to certify a class action against Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis.

The ACLU’s attempt to quickly expand this case into a class action has been derailed. The case is moot and should be dismissed. The ACLU knows the problem it faces and has tried to avoid the fact that its case is moot.

Soon Liberty Counsel will file its brief on the merits of the case with the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
