By a 2-to-1 margin, Georgia’s GOP primary voters, in a non-binding vote, overwhelmingly voted in favor of placing a Personhood amendment on the ballot to amend the state Constitution. Georgia Right to Life President Dan Becker today called on the State Legislature to acknowledge clear public sentiment and approve placing a Personhood amendment before all voters in 2014.

Georgia voters sent a message loud and clear that they want to protect human life. The first right is the right to life, without which there are no other rights. The right to life is clearly set forth in the Declaration of Independence where the Founders wrote that we are endowed by our Creator with the unalienable right to life.
