Without the right to life, no other rights matter. Since 1989, Liberty Counsel has sought to advance the cause of life. Once again this year we joined with other organizations to strengthen the effectiveness of the pro-life message.

During this year, we worked with legislators and pro-life groups in Arkansas on pro-life laws and defense of a law that bans abortion after twelve weeks. We also filed a major brief before the Alabama Supreme Court, which then ruled that the word “child” in a child endangerment law includes unborn children. 

We also filed briefs in support of life with a federal appeals court and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, we defended a pastor’s right to speak out on abortion after he was arrested and jailed for four hours simply for holding a sign stating that abortion kills children.

Our strategic partnership with other pro-life supporters, including Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the reality television show 19 Kids and Counting, continues as we expand www.LifeUnited.org, a website with a wide range of pro-life resources to help women and their families.

Liberty Counsel is also strategic in the use of our resources. Our nondonor funding averaged over the past five years (which includes court-awarded attorney’s fees received from our opposition) has covered 100% of our fundraising and administrative costs for the same time period, leaving every penny we receive from generous donors like you to fund our vital  litigation and education projects!
