Abdul El-Sayed: Any attempt to ban Sharia is “white supremacy” 

The Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul El-Sayed, told the New York Times in 2009 that he felt an “obligation” to follow Islamic Sharia law in everything he does.

Now this self-described “Sharia-compliant” Muslim is trying to shut down proposed nationwide bans on Sharia by falsely labeling the efforts as “white supremacy.” But protecting Americans from Sharia is not racism. Instead, it's vital and necessary action to secure America's survival.

In fact, Sharia is “Muslim supremacy.” Nearly 250 years ago, Tripoli’s ambassador to London gave John Adams and Thomas Jefferson a crash course in Sharia. This representative of a notorious pirate state told them:

It was…written in the Koran, that all Nations who should not have acknowledged their [the Muslims’] authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon whoever they could find and to make Slaves of all they could take as prisoners,

Sharia then is Sharia now. It’s a real threat. And the number of Muslims winning political office in America means the threat is growing. Congress must move now to ban Sharia before it’s too late.

Recently, reporters tried to get El-Sayed to renounce his statements accusing anti-Sharia bill supporters of being racist. But instead of backtracking, El-Sayed doubled down, wrongly claiming that Sharia — which demands severe penalties, including whipping, amputation, even beheading — is no different than Catholic canon law.

But El-Sayed's statements are not only obfuscation but outright falsehoods.  Catholic canon laws apply to the governance of the church itself, its bishops, priests, and parishes, whereas according to the tenets of Islam, every Muslim is to force his neighbors and government to implement brutal, often barbaric, Islamic law — Sharia — on all people everywhere.

And no matter how hard Sharia fanatics like El-Sayed try, they cannot cover up the fact that Sharia is creeping across America and being used in everything from preventing women from getting restraining orders against violent husbands to Muslim fathers right here on U.S. soil conducting “honor killings” of their own daughters.

Lest one think this radical Sharia-pusher isn't a threat, think again. Polls show El-Sayed is leading his Christian Republican Senate opponent Mike Rogers by a slight margin.

That is why it is so incredibly important for Congress to pass the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act NOW, before even one more American woman loses her rights, or even her life, to Sharia.
