Lt. Col. Sean Yates* would have been happy to keep serving in the Air Force until they kicked him out for old age. He didn’t really want to get the shot, but like so many other military personnel we’ve heard from over the past five years, he was told he did not have a choice. 

Unfortunately, Yates didn't know about Liberty Counsel work protecting people like himself.  

He got the shot. And with the shot came seizures. 

Once at the peak of his career and fitness, Yates is now racked by multiple grand mal seizures a day — any one of which can kill him. 

His career is over; he’s being med-boarded out of the Air Force he loves. Worse yet, his mind and body have been racked by the seizures. 

If any drug in the world other than a vaccine had caused his injuries, he could have sued the drug manufacturer to force it to pay not only for his ongoing health care, but also for the career he lost and the pain and suffering the shot injury caused. 

But Congress protected vaccine makers back in 1986. You see, drugmakers were being successfully sued so often for the injuries the DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis) vaccine caused, that Big Pharma (which spends more money on lobbying than any other industry in the world) leaned on Congress to protect them. 

Pharma (which also happens to account for one-sixth of the world’s economy) pushed Congress to pass the erroneously named “National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act” (NCVIA). 

The NCVIA declared that drugmakers could not be sued by patients no matter how many people their vaccine injured or killed.  

Then, just as Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson were rolling out shots that would injure and kill millions of people after Joe Biden mandated them, Congress passed the PREP Act, which further shielded vaccine makers.   

No other class of drug enjoys this protection. Drugmakers have been sued by patients for faulty heart drugs, weight loss drugs, mental health drugs, and more — rightly paying for the earth-shattering injuries cause by their bad drugs. 

But vaccines got a pass, and worse yet, were mandated by schools, employers, and even the government. 

Someone needs to pay for that, and the punishment rightly belongs at the feet of the people who created and pushed the poison — Big Pharma. 

During COVID, Liberty Counsel led the charge in defending people from being forced to take the dangerous COVID shots. Now we are helping people who were injured and abused because of those mandates, and we continue to have multiple COVID-related cases working their way through the courts.
