A recent survey found that 60% of Gen Z respondents and 50% of millennials had gone "no contact" with one or both of their parents, compared to only 20% of baby boomers.

The rise almost exactly correlates to when public schools began encouraging parental alienation over the LGBTQ issue.

Public schools and local governments began enacting radical policies to “socially transition” minor children without parental consent. Worse yet, in many cases, teachers and administrators were specifically told NOT to inform parents, and to hide at all costs the fact that the school was calling the child by a false name and using biologically incorrect pronouns. They were even allowing the child to choose which bathroom, locker room, and showers to use and which sex the child prefers to bunk with at school-sponsored sleep-away events.

“The social transition of a child is not a neutral or benign intervention. It’s a psychosocial intervention, and the first step toward medical intervention,” says January Littlejohn, a licensed mental health counselor with a master's in counseling and education, whose own daughter was groomed into believing she was a “boy” by her public-school teachers.

Littlejohn notes that once a school embarks upon the “social transitioning” of a child, the very next step is medicalization, which is to “prescribe them puberty blockers, drugs used to chemically castrate sex offenders and treat prostate cancer."

“When school officials socially transition children behind the backs of loving parents, what they are doing is a form of parental alienation,” says Littlejohn, sending “a clear message that our parental authority was no longer wanted or needed and that she should be protected from us, not by us.”

As a result, the children in these crises wind up hating their parents, who are further demonized by the schoolteachers and administrators. And recent studies on the shocking increase in parental alienation since these policies took effect are proof of just some of the long-term harms these schools are putting into motion.

“We must take back our parental authority in every institution in our child’s life,” Littlejohn says.
