SAVE America Act measures added to Reconciliation Bill

Conservative House members are forcing the Senate’s hand, by placing SAVE America Act language in the upcoming Reconciliation 3.0 bill. 

The Reconciliation 3.0 bill is a “must pass” measure to keep the government funded. Democrats are kicking and screaming over the tactic, and some Republicans are getting squeamish on the issue. 

But if Congress wants to spend our money, they had better save our elections first!

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) bluntly contends that this is a fight between the American people and “the swamp.”

“The Senate should side with the people — not the Swamp.”

This is not a fringe issue — it’s a unifying one. According to Pew Research Center, 83% of Americans support requiring ID to vote, including strong majorities of both Republicans and Democrats.
