"Unbaptisms” featured at LGBTQ “pride” events

Some LGBTQ “Pride” events are now featuring Satanic Temple blood baptisms, wherein participants reject Jesus Christ and get sprinkled with blood to be baptized in the name of Satan. I’ll tell you more about these shocking events and video evidence in just a moment.

While the LGBTQ “Pride” events are herding people into Satanism, our public schools and institutions are herding our children into the LGBTQ embrace.

In multiple cases, Liberty Counsel is fighting to stop this dead-end train, including several where local governments treat Christianity as a mental illness. I’ll tell you more about those egregious cases in a moment, too.

But as the “Pride” events and our casework in this area show, the battle before us is in both the spiritual and physical realms. We need both your prayers and your direct financial support to keep us in the fight.

Satan and “Pride”

One of the most reliable things about Satan is his pride. It’s what got him cast out of heaven, and it remains a driving motivator today.

While Satan may often hide his face for a while, his pride eventually drives him to unmask, show off his power, and feed his vanity.

Not ironically or surprisingly, Satan is now unmasking at “Pride” events.

This past Sunday, a Salt Lake City “family friendly” LGBTQ Pride festival featured a Satanic temple offering “unbaptisms” in blood and “black sacrament” ceremonies every two hours. Participants verbally rejected Jesus, were sprinkled with blood, and declared Satan their “god.”

The booth itself (as well as the temple’s social media site) also advertised images of Satan preparing to baptize Jesus, who is adorned with horns and in a waist-deep pool of red.

Shockingly, that temple had a longer line and more attendees than any other booth at the event.

Indeed, Satan’s pride was on full display. But it’s not confined to Utah.

A “Pride” event in Idaho featured the same ceremonies. Parades in multiple cities across the country have featured massive banners that state “Satan Loves” and include an image of a rainbow, inferring Satan loves the LGBTQ.

I’m sure he does, in his warped, perverse reversal of God’s love.

When public schools and government entities push children into the LGBTQ movement and LGBTQ advocates push people into Satanism, we as Christians are compelled to respond.

Our shocking legal cases: The following are just a handful of our cases battling entities determined to force Christians into Satan’s “Pride” scheme.

• A Santa Fe, CA, public school demanded our clients send their 6-year-old daughter, Molly*, to counseling to “be more accepting” of the “trans-identifying” boy in her classroom who will not stop exposing his genitals to her and because Molly refused to agree with the teacher that this boy was a “girl.”
  
  Such “counseling” would require a rejection of the family’s faith and acceptance of the LGBTQ agenda.

• In California’s Enterprise Elementary School District, teachers are being forced to undergo mandatory LGBTQ affirmation training and implement that affirmation in their classrooms in order to keep their jobs.

• In Bickford v. Bradeen, a family court judge has banned Emily Bickford, a Christian mother, from taking her Christian daughter to church because, the judge says, churches that teach biblical truth about heaven, hell, and God’s design for humans are “psychologically damaging” to children.

• In Chiles v. Salazar, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that governments may not ban Christian change counseling. Yet more than 80 cities and states are refusing to overturn their bans — effectively preventing patients from escaping the “Pride” lifestyle.

Sadly, we have more of these types of cases than I can fit in a single email. As the “Pride” video evidence reveals all too clearly, the spiritual battle here is as real as the physical battles in which we are engaging.
