The pharmaceutical industry spends more money on lobbying Congress and campaign donations than any other industry in the world. And that money is spent to protect the bottom line of pharmaceutical companies.

In the 1980s, pharmaceutical companies were facing massive lawsuits over faulty vaccines that killed or injured people. The DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus) vaccine in particular caused encephalopathy, seizures, chronic neurological damage, and brain damage.

Instead of fixing their dangerous vaccines, the pharmaceutical companies leaned on Congress to pass the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) and later passed the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act.

Those laws, which might as well be called the “Big Pharma Protection Acts,” gave drug makers absolute immunity from the injuries and deaths caused by their vaccines.

The injuries are vast. Even after the Big Pharma protection laws passed, infant DPT vaccines caused brain injury and death. Vaccines like Shingrix destroyed nerve endings causing permanent, body-wide burning pain. Zostavax caused patients to go blind and actually gave people shingles instead of preventing it.

Gardasil — which has the second-highest number of vaccine injury reports of all time — has given teenagers crippling Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and heart dysfunction, among other crippling conditions.

Then there's the granddaddy of all injury-causing vaccines – the COVID jabs. These shots had more documented injuries than any other vaccine in history, blowing away the previous injury leader, Gardasil, by hundreds of thousands of injuries in the U.S. alone.

• Once a 12-year-old star soccer player, Maddie de Garay is permanently paralyzed and requires a feeding tube, thanks to the COVID shot. Despite being caught hiding serious adverse events like Maddie’s from the FDA and patients, Pfizer didn’t pay a dime.
• Benjamin* was one of the U.S. Navy’s top pilots — that is, until the Pfizer COVID shot gave him a heart attack, another known side effect hidden from the FDA. In addition to his medical bills, Benjamin will never be able to fly again. Again, Pfizer didn’t pay a dime.
• ‌Jacob* developed liver failure, followed by multi-organ failure, and died as a result of the Moderna COVID shot. Moderna never paid.
• Donna* developed Mast Cell Disease after taking the COVID shot. Now her body’s immune system treats everything, from the air she breathes to the food she eats, as a threat, causing extreme pain, muscle weakness, and severe gastrointestinal problems, among other issues.
• Alysha* has miscarried every pregnancy she’s had since taking the COVID shot and subsequent booster.

These people are not alone. There are millions more like them across America.

The drug makers did not pay these medical bills, nor any damages for lost health or lives. And whatever treatments their medical insurance did not cover, they and their families had to pay out of pocket — all because Congress passed a law to protect vaccine makers from having to pay for the injuries their drugs caused.
