Eradicating Christian Teachers Must End

LGBTQ Targeting Christian Teachers

Liberty Counsel is fielding a slew of new cases in which the LGBTQ is working to get Christian teachers removed from the classroom

The LGBTQ has a new tactic in its attempt to eradicate any Christians from influencing the public against the “queer” agenda. They are working to get Christian teachers removed from the classroom. For the last several months, Liberty Counsel has seen a sharp increase in these types of cases, including our latest case representing an Arizona State University (ASU) professor.

Don’t let the LGBTQ kick Chistian teachers out of the classroom! Support Liberty Counsel and a Challenge Grant will DOUBLE your impact!

But first, some GREAT news! Liberty Counsel has scored its 40th win on cases we have argued or briefed before the U.S. Supreme Court!

On Friday, the High Court ruled in Mahmoud v. Montgomery County Schools that parents have the right to opt out their children from coerced LGBTQ indoctrination in public schools. The High Court rejected Montgomery County Schools’ policy that forbids families from opting their children out of LGBTQ classes, lessons, and activities. Montgomery County’s policy made LGBTQ indoctrination mandatory, and the High Court rejected it. Praise God!

This massive win respects parents’ First Amendment right to raise their children in accordance with their religious beliefs and forces all schools to allow parents to opt out their children from indoctrination that conflicts with their religious beliefs.

The Mahmoud case dovetails into our latest case, representing an Arizona State University professor fired because he tried to protect his elementary aged children from LGBTQ indoctrination in the local public school.

Douglas* is an Arizona State University professor who has an exemplary record, as shown by his excellent performance and student reviews. In addition to being a top-notch professor, Douglas also happens to be the father of two elementary-aged children.

During the start of the 2023-2024 school year, local K-12 school district teachers asked students to fill out surveys that asked for their “preferred pronouns” and further asked students whether the teachers should hide those preferred pronouns from parents. Some teachers went further, even asking these young children about their se*ual preferences!

Douglas and other parents were outraged. He spoke at six separate K-12 school board meetings, demanding the board address policies that require teachers to hide student mental health information, like preferred pronouns, from their parents, and enforcing policies that violate parents’ religious beliefs.

Once the LGBTQ learned that the outspoken man addressing the school board meetings was an ASU professor, they began a wicked campaign to get him fired.

A social media thread was created to help LGBTQ members share ideas on how they could punish Douglas for trying to protect his own children. Those posts included recommendations to file baseless complaints against Douglas with his employer. Complaints against Douglas suddenly flew into ASU.

Nothing in Douglas’ ASU contract prohibits him from speaking outside the university, nor does it prevent him from remaining silent about his faith or his ability to interact with his children’s K-12 school district.

But ASU caved to the LGBTQ complaints and refused to renew Douglas’ teaching contract. The LGBTQ crowd had won ... but now Liberty Counsel is involved, and we are fighting to right this wrong!

Earlier this year, I wrote to you about the homose*ual male teacher who ran a relentless harassment campaign to get two Christian teachers and Bible club leaders to either quit or be fired because they are Christians. We are still fighting in that case and have other similar cases pending.

These new cases present a disturbing LGBTQ tactic that must be stopped. But we need your direct financial support in order to fund these cases. Liberty Counsel never charges our clients because we know that few could afford to fight government officials and entities on their own.

Arizona State University, for instance, has a 1.59-BILLION-dollar endowment at its disposal. Your average professor simply does not have the funds to defend himself or herself against that kind of financial leverage — unless they have YOUR HELP.

Please help us defend Douglas and all the teachers under LGBTQ attack by supporting our legal fund today. When you do, a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation. Please, give generously.

ONE MORE THING! If Congress passes the Equality Act, EVERYONE — including your church, your pastor, and even YOU — will be silenced by the LGBTQ agenda. Fax Congress now and demand they VOTE NO on the Equality Act of 2025.
