A member of the U.S. House stumped a Yale School of Medicine trans-promoting gender bender into silence when he asked her one simple question in a recent hearing on why some medical schools are pushing mutilating surgeries on minors.

Below I’ll share what happened on Capitol Hill. The so-called “transgender” nonsense may be the thread that will undo the radical LGBTQ agenda. The “T” in this acronym reveals the ultimate agenda to abolish gender and to displace God by fooling people into thinking they can make themselves into their own fictitious image.

Defend America's Children from the Trans Pushers!

Last week during a House Committee on Energy and Commerce hearing, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) grilled Dr. Meredithe McNamara, who teaches pediatric medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She supervises the pediatric residents caring for children and young adults ages 11-25.

McNamara is a BIG proponent of chemical and surgical procedures on minors, and an even bigger opponent of parents and politicians trying to rescue youth from gender-bending propaganda.

A witness for the Democrats on the committee, McNamara has long accused opponents of “cherry picking” arguments against child sterilization.

But when asked to provide even one study that supported McNamara’s pro-child mutilation, she could not name a single one.

“The British Journal of Medicine looked at 61 systematic reviews with the conclusion that, ‘There is great uncertainty about the effects of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries in young people,’” Rep. Crenshaw told McNamara in the hearing. “The Journal of the Endocrine Society came up with the same conclusion, even the American Academy of Pediatrics. They all cite the lack of evidence.”

Rep. Crenshaw continued: “[W]hen you’re talking about permanent physiological changes, do you not agree, just from an ethical standpoint, that you might want extremely strong evidence of the benefits? There’s no systematic review that states that there’s strong evidence of benefits.”

McNamara tried to sidestep the question.

“Which journal says something different?,” Crenshaw asked. “We should have that debate. Tell me a journal that has done systematic reviews that cites different evidence, that cites strong evidence of benefits for these therapies."

McNamara responded, “The standards of care were developed based on extensive—.”

“You’re not telling me any study. Don’t say ‘standards of care,’” Crenshaw interjected. “Tell me one.”

“So, um, the standards of care,” McNamara said.

“The standards of care. That’s not a journal, that’s not a study. That’s not an organization. That’s not an institution. You’re just saying words. Name one study,” Crenshaw demanded.

McNamara was unable to offer a single study.

That’s because there aren’t any. In addition to the studies Rep. Crenshaw referenced, a group of scientists reviewed 5,765 scientific articles across 46 different health, psychology, science, social, and humanities databases.

What these scientists found is:

• A near-complete “lack of reliable and valid diagnostic criterion” being used to diagnose people with gender identity disorders.
• “It is impossible to assess the reliability or validity of the methodology.”
• Many of the studies supporting “gender affirmation” are “clearly neither logical nor methodologically robust.”

Yet doctors like McNamara and her ilk are training new doctors to castrate, sterilize, and mutilate children without a shred of science to support the permanent damage they intend to inflict.

But there IS hope. The tide of public opinion is turning. The ugly face of the LGBTQ agenda targeting our children is being revealed and rejected. And Christian counseling has been shown to help heal gender confusion as well as unwanted same-sex attractions. But this lifesaving therapy has been banned in many cities and states. Liberty Counsel has overturned 23 counseling bans, but we continue to fight to overturn the other 87 Christian counseling bans still in place.
