Last Thursday, I presented oral argument before a panel of three judges at the First Circuit Court of Appeals in our lawsuit against tyrannical Gov. Janet Mills and her shot mandate, which has already harmed and continues to injure so many.
Today I’ll share news about our court appearance as well as stories from some of the nurses impacted by the COVID jabs and unlawful mandates.
In the four months following wide implementation of the COVID shots, Cara*, a registered nurse, witnessed two spontaneous abortions, one stroke, two cases of complete body paralysis, partial paralysis, six cases of severe shedding of the uterine lining and tissue, and two spontaneous deaths … all which happened to her patients within days of taking the jab.
Cara had been hesitant about obeying the shot mandate when it came down, but when she saw the astounding number of COVID shot injuries in her own hospital, she knew she could not take the dangerous jab.
Meghan* wasn’t so lucky.
“I was single, 37 and on top of the world in the best physical shape of my life as an athlete,” writes Meghan, a nurse who worked in the COVID ICU ward beginning on “day one” of the pandemic. Now Meghan can’t work, drive, or even walk well, all because of the Pfizer jab.
Thirty minutes after receiving the first Pfizer shot, Meghan’s face went numb, then became paralyzed. By that evening, she had a 105-degree fever, extreme body pain, and tremors.
Over the next two weeks, Meghan’s body revolted. The fever remained, as did the facial paralysis and pain. But new symptoms set in, severe and constant hypotension (dangerously low blood pressure), syncope (the inability of the heart to properly regulate its beating pattern), as well as severe “brain fog.”
Meghan’s hands and feet began to swell and turn blue, becoming too painful to move or use. As her hands and feet continued to swell, painful blisters formed. Her rheumatologist diagnosed her formally with “perniosis” a dangerous autoimmune disorder, before telling her what doctors have begun calling this symptom — “COVID toes.”
Eight months after receiving the shot, Meghan’s symptoms were even worse. The burning blisters that began on her hands and feet had spread throughout her body. She no longer has use of her hands and worries that the numbness she experiences there will spread throughout her body like the blisters did. And Meghan’s mental cognition has declined to the point where she says she has great difficulty forming full sentences or even “finding words.”
“I’m desperate to get out of bed and be normal again,” she writes. “I need to be heard. I need help.”
The injuries these women witnessed and experienced match the now hundreds of thousands of adverse reactions that have been reported on the CDC VAERS website.
As of April 29, 2023, there have been 1,553,187 COVID shot injuries reported to VAERS — more than all other vaccines COMBINED since the government website began tracking vaccine injuries in 1990.
Last Thursday, a three-judge panel of the First Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in Lowe et al. v. Janet Mills et al., where I argued on behalf of health care workers in Maine who were terminated because their religious exemptions from Governor Janet Mills’ unconstitutional COVID-19 shot mandate were denied.
Our lawsuit challenges the Maine law that requires employees of designated Maine health care facilities to take the jab or leave their job. Gov. Mills ordered employers to deny ALL religious exemptions and ignore the federal employment law known as Title VII that affords employees the right to request reasonable accommodation for their sincere religious beliefs.
Gov. Mills threatened to revoke the licenses of all health care employers who failed to deny religious exemptions. In other words, Gov. Mills’ order is a clear violation of federal law.
During the argument, the judges seemed favorable to our case. In fact, at one point, Judge Lynch turned to the attorney for the state and said, “You obviously have not been reading the U.S. Supreme Court precedent on this, or else you would not have filed your motion to dismiss.”
Alicia, the lead plaintiff in our case broke down in tears as oral arguments ended Thursday. Alicia has dedicated her life to saving others. She worked hard to earn an associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree, and a master’s degree in nursing. She was lead OR nurse for 20 years.
But because Alicia chose to exercise her federally protected right to refuse the shots, Gov. Mills insisted Alicia and all other health care professionals who resisted Mills’ unlawful order would be punished. Under Mills’ mandate, all health care workers without the jab — including Alicia — were fired, despite a massive nursing shortage in Maine and across the country.
As a result, Alicia isn’t plagued by the horrific COVID shot side effects, but she isn’t helping patients either. Instead, this highly educated, extremely experienced OR nurse has been working in construction to make ends meet.
When closing arguments finished Thursday, Alicia and many of the other health care professionals wept. Many didn’t believe their stories would ever be heard. Many believed no one would or could help them fight for their religious freedom rights. All were deeply moved by the power of committed Christians defending them in a court of law.
You are part of an army funding the fight for religious freedom. Alicia’s tears of gratitude are also tears of thanks to the faithful Liberty Counsel supporters who refuse to allow tyrannical politicians to steal Americans’ religious freedom.
This case is far from finished, but we have a strong wind at our back. Your support and continued prayers bring us closer to victory every day. Please donate to our legal fund today. When you do, a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the IMPACT of your donation.
