Sebastian has served for 22 years as an aviator with the United States Navy. He has been stationed all over the world, commanded multiple squadrons and flown countless missions in peacetime and war, including in Afghanistan and Iraq.

After surviving many missions with bullets flying all around, Sebastian never imagined it would be an unlawful order from his own “Commander in Chief” that would bring him down.

In September 2021, when the administration announced Biden’s shot mandates, Sebastian did not want to take the jab. He knew that the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) fully approved COVID jab was not in production, and he had serious questions about the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) drug the Department of Defense (DOD) was issuing in its place.

Sebastian asked his commanding officer about the EUA issue. He was handed a document on official U.S. Navy letterhead stating that the EUA shot was “interchangeable” with the fully FDA-licensed shot “with no safety or efficacy concerns.”

Sebastian was also informed that unless he took that EUA shot within five days, his career, his good name and his future would all be ruined.

Sebastian’s command told this exemplary naval aviator and commander that unless he took the jabs he would be recommended for dishonorable discharge. A dishonorable discharge from the military is the equivalent of a felony in the civilian world. It is a lifelong career killer inside or outside the military.

Sebastian followed orders and took the COVID shot, not knowing the order he had received was unlawful. It would be one of the worst mistakes of his life.

On October 14, just days after Sebastian passed his annual flight physical, he took the first COVID jab. Sebastian was feeling fine the morning of the shot. He had even completed a full and vigorous workout shortly before arriving at the clinic.

But within hours after taking the jab, he knew something was very wrong. Sebastian experienced a sudden and severe fever spike. His chest felt compressed and painful. He tried to drive to the hospital, but his vertigo was so bad he had to stop and call for help.

When Sebastian arrived at the hospital, tests revealed that the COVID jab  

had crashed his body systems. His spleen was severely enlarged. His white and red blood cells and platelet counts were shockingly low. His primary care physician told him his bone marrow function had been “interrupted” and reduced, and that he had somehow suddenly contracted a severe autoimmune disorder.

NONE of these conditions had been present during Sebastian’s annual physical just days before the shot.

It has been nearly a year since Sebastian took that jab. “At this point, my future health and career are uncertain,” says Sebastian, who still experiences extreme vertigo and fainting, and has an autoimmune disorder no one can explain or heal.

Sebastian’s disabilities COULD have been prevented if only Joe Biden and his Department of Defense had chosen to FOLLOW THE LAW.

Federal law states that no one, not even military members, can be forced to take an FDA Emergency Use Authorization drug.

Further, the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act makes clear that the administration cannot force federal employees or military members to violate the tenets of their genuinely held faith. In other words, Joe Biden cannot force ANYONE to take his COVID jabs—and he cannot fire military members for refusing to violate their deeply held religious beliefs against taking an abortion-linked drug like the COVID shots.

But Biden did it anyway, and now hundreds of thousands of Americans, and tens of thousands of military members like Sebastian have been harmed by this insane shot mandate.

Liberty Counsel is fighting to protect the religious freedom rights of EVERY American, but especially those now serving in the military. Last week we won class certification and a preliminary injunction protecting the service members of the U.S. Marines. There is now classwide protection for the Air Force, Space Force, Navy and Marines. We should have similar federal court protections for the Army and Coast Guard in the coming days.

But Joe Biden just will not back down. Already this week, Liberty Counsel has put DOJ (Department of Justice) lawyers on notice to get their commanders in line and obey the court orders or we will press for contempt of court charges. I will keep you informed as these cases progress.

In the meantime, the Biden administration continues to recklessly ignore the rule of law. We expect them to continue this fight to the very end.
