Two draconian abortion bills are up for vote in Congress today. The margins for abortion-related legislation in Congress are razor thin right now, as the fight for life continues after the demise of Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood v. Casey and the so-called “Lemon test.”

Pro-abortion activists are vying to make unfettered abortion on demand the law of the land … and, we expect, will vote to do so TODAY.

Both bills are far more radical than Roe v. Wade. Read on to learn more about the evil proposed legislation, but first please take a moment RIGHT NOW to fax Congress and demand they vote NO on abortion! —Mat

DEMAND Congress VOTE NO on ABORTION!

The intentionally misnamed Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022 and Ensuring Access to Abortion Act of 2022 are scheduled for a vote today. Both bills provide unfettered access to abortion without parental consent and without ultrasounds. They would even codify telemedicine “abortion via Skype.”

The Women’s Health Protection Act (HR 8296) “prohibits governmental restrictions on the provision of, and access to, abortion services.”

Specifically, governments (including at the state level) may not limit a provider's ability to:

• Prescribe abortifacient drugs.
• Offer abortion services via telemedicine.
• Provide immediate abortion on demand.

Further, governments may not require a provider to:

• Perform ultrasounds prior to abortion.
• Provide medically accurate information.
• Carry out all services, including emergency support, connected to abortion.

The Ensuring Access to Abortion Act of 2022 (HR 8297) “prohibits anyone acting under state law from interfering with a person’s ability to access out-of-state abortion services. (“Abortion services” include the use of any drugs that are approved to terminate pregnancies and any health care services related to an abortion, whether provided at the same time or on the same day.)

Specifically, the bill prohibits any person acting under state law from preventing, restricting, impeding or retaliating against:

• Health care providers who provide legal abortion services to out-of-state residents.
• Any person or entity who helps health care providers to provide such services.
• Any person who travels to another state to obtain such services.
• Any person or entity who helps another person travel to another state to obtain such services.
• The movement in interstate commerce of drugs that are approved to terminate pregnancies.

In other words, these two bills destroy any state government’s ability to protect the unborn citizens within its borders …

And in an especially sick twist, both bills authorize the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to enforce the slaughter of innocents.

We have very little time to block this legislative push. I urge you to act now to send faxes to as many members of Congress as possible and urge them to block these deadly bills.

The killing of a human being is not a constitutional right.

You know it, I know it and science knows it—life begins at conception. Abortion is the destruction of God’s most precious gift. We have fought for over 50 years to end the wholesale slaughter protected by Roe v. Wade.

But pro-abortion members of Congress, led by the death-dealing abortion lobby, want to keep the rivers of blood flowing in America’s abortion mills. We cannot let them succeed.

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is pushing harder than ever to eliminate the filibuster and make unrestricted abortion on demand the law of our land. 

Schumer only needs two more votes to achieve his sick goal. Senators Manchin (D-WV), Sinema (D-AZ), Murkowski (R-AK) and Collins (R-ME) are all on the fence. We need YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW to stop this travesty.
