On Monday, I was in the courtroom yet again, advocating for people of faith in our military.

I asked the judge to extend the temporary restraining order to a preliminary injunction that will remain in effect during the entire case for one of our clients. I also pleaded for class certification that will extend protection to countless military people begging for help in every branch.

Below, I’ll share what we presented, which the Department of Defense does not want you to know. Frankly, there are not enough hours in the day to fight the vaccine mandates.

My heart breaks over the stories we hear daily from countless military personnel and their families who are calling our office looking for relief. The burden is so great that my staff members sometimes cry after hearing the stress and pain these people are under.

For example, a member of the Air Force was told to stay in his apartment because he declined the shot. He was not allowed outside, was denied working remotely and was severely limited in his communication with others. He has lived this way for six months. When finally called into work, he was told to move four boxes—just four—then sent back to his lonely apartment to wait again, for who knows how long?

An Army officer recently showed up for duty and found that his orders had been “deleted.” “I’ve been reassigned to the broom closet,” he said. He and and his fellow officers call this tactic the “administrative bleed of death.” He was assigned to an empty room to do nothing, with regular check-ins by his chain of command to ensure he was doing nothing, day after day.

An Air Force master sergeant wrote my team, saying, “I would love to continue to serve honorably, I also believe this is a "make or break" moment for our military, government, and nation.” This person is under threat of military discharge at any moment and is asking to be included in our case. Others are facing one or more of the following:

• Reduced duties or being placed on administrative duty.
• Losing benefits.
• Being told they can’t retire.
• Threatened to be processed out.
• Pressured/bullied/threatened/misrepresented/demoted.
• Stuck in limbo/not facilitating change of station/separating families.
• Forced into homelessness or to pay for housing.

Many in our military are at their breaking point. We have knowledge of some who committed suicide over this persecution. This is not limited to the military. Many civilians are facing illegal shot mandates as well.

Defend Our Defenders & Help Save Religious Liberty!

During our hearing on Monday, we introduced several critical documents. A directive from a three-star general over the United States European Command (EUCOM) said that “unvaccinated” service members have “no discernable negative impact” on military readiness. This completely dismantles the government’s arguments that it must force these shots!

As one of 11 united combatant commands of the U.S. military, EUCOM, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, includes 51 countries and territories, including Europe, Russia and Greenland. All military branches deployed in this part of the world come under EUCOM. Thus, the three-star general’s statement applies to every military branch.

Let me repeat what this three-star general said: “Unvaccinated” service members have “no discernible negative impact” on military readiness!

This service member’s testimony is backed up by 66,000 pages of data recently released under court order by the FDA of Pfizer’s clinical studies/approval application process. These documents show that the shots are not safe and that natural immunity is very effective against infection.

In a control group of people who recovered from COVID, when exposed a second time, not even one person had a serious case.

We also introduced evidence regarding a new change by the Marine Corps for “Quarantine and Isolation” (Q&I). Based on the data, the Marine Corps no longer requires COVID-positive Marines to Q&I from healthy Marines. Now, they are in the same barracks as Marines who do not have COVID. And testing is no longer required!

If the “unvaccinated” present “no discernible negative impact” on military readiness, and if COVID-positive Marines are no longer required to quarantine and isolate, then why is Joe Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) still punishing and discharging service members who refuse the shots for religious reasons?

There is NO medical reason for our military to reject natural immunity as an effective preventative and no compelling reason to force our service members to abandon their faith to continue their military careers.

The Biden administration is trying to purge our military of people of faith. Our plaintiffs and Liberty Counsel are standing in the way.
