Over the 12 years before Constitution Day 2017, the City of Boston approved 284 applications by private groups to temporarily raise a flag on the city's flagpole during their event. But application number 285 was denied solely because Camp Constitution’s application included one word—the word “Christian.”

Boston’s website states it wants to “create an environment in the city where everyone feels included, and is treated with respect.”

But when Boston says “everyone,” it means everyone BUT Christians.

Camp Constitution applied to hold an event to celebrate Christian contributions to Boston and Massachusetts. During the one-hour program, Camp Constitution applied to raise the “Christian flag” on the city’s “public forum” flagpole, which its website said is open to “all applicants.”

But the City of Boston DENIED Camp Constitution’s application SOLELY because it included the word “Christian.”

We lost this case twice in the lower district court, then lost twice at the court of appeals. But the Supreme Court has taken up the case and will issue a ruling that will impact the entire country!

We filed our opening brief on Monday. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court set oral argument for January 18. This week has been a whirlwind!

Maine Gov. Janet Mills doubled down on her persecution of religious faithful by ordering Maine health care employers to reject all religious exemptions and to force their employees to receive COVID shots. Any health care employer that refuses to comply with Mills’ latest unlawful order will lose their license to do business! Yesterday, we asked the Supreme Court to expedite relief, stop this illegal order and protect these health care heroes.

A few of our other cases in the federal courts …

Last Friday, in Navy SEAL 1 v. Biden, the defendants admitted the military denied every one of the 16,646 religious exemption requests!

On Monday, while we were in court, the Navy issued a new directive that these heroes will be discharged and lose all benefits, and THEY WILL BE FORCED TO PAY BACK THE COST OF EDUCATION, TRAINING (IN THE MILLIONS) AND THEIR TICKET HOME—EVEN IF STATIONED ABROAD!

Yesterday, we also filed a brief at the Supreme Court to stop the New York shot mandate. Our plaintiff has operated a nursing home for over 50 years. Under the New York mandate, he will have to close NEXT MONDAY because he will not force his employees to get the shots. BUT he cannot evict the residents. If he closes, he will violate the law. If he stays open, he will violate the law. We asked the Supreme Court to intervene.

Never in our history have we been bombarded with so many attacks on religious freedom from so many fronts. And the hundreds of desperate calls for help that come into our offices each day are truly heartbreaking.

Pregnant women are being ordered to get a shot that could harm their unborn child or lose the job and health insurance that will pay for prenatal care and delivery ... employees are being told they will be fired and not receive their retirement benefits if they do not take the jab …  each call describes tragic circumstances caused by Biden’s illegal mandates.

The situations are as heart-wrenching as they are infuriating. This should NOT be happening in America!
