Last Friday, the federal court gave the defendants a huge homework assignment in our case Navy SEAL 1 v. Biden. There is much to do as we prepare for the hearing on November 15. I’ll share with you about one of our plaintiffs, “Navy Chaplain,” and the judge’s order.

Gabe* is identified as “Navy Chaplain” in our massive class action lawsuit, the short name of which is Navy SEAL 1 v. Biden.
For 18 years, Chaplain Gabe has served in the United States Navy, ministering to a constantly changing flock of men and women, young recruits and seasoned warriors. Chaplain Gabe has officiated Sunday services, weddings and funerals, but the bulk of his work has been counseling the hurt, the broken and the scared.
Chaplain Gabe’s 18+ years of faithful service to God and country, even in the most challenging of deployments and in wartime, provides ample evidence of his deep commitment to his religious convictions.
When the COVID shot mandates were announced for the military, Chaplain Gabe submitted his religious exemption form. All of the COVID shots were either developed or tested using aborted fetal cell lines. Because of his deep faith and dedicated service to the Lord, Chaplain Gabe does not use ANY products developed or tested using aborted fetal cells.
Despite his years of deep and obvious commitment to his faith and his long career as a military minister, Chaplain Gabe’s religious exemption request was DENIED.
The military has been unlawfully denying ALL religious exemption requests.
Following the directive from Joe Biden to the Departments of Defense (DOD) and Homeland Security (DHS), active duty and reserve service members are being threatened with discipline, including dishonorable discharge, for merely requesting a religious exemption.
Further, federal civilian contractors have been given no guidance as to how or where to submit religious exemption requests, even as the deadline to take the jab or lose their job looms.
Last week, Biden’s DOD filed a document refusing to give any assurance that it would not take disciplinary action against service members after November 8. That is why our case is vitally important.
On October 15, Liberty Counsel filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of members of every branch of the military, federal employees and civilian contractors. We are suing Joe Biden as well as his Departments of Defense and Homeland Security for their unlawful mandates and for refusing to accommodate religious exemption requests.
On October 29, the U.S. District Court, Florida Division, sent down an order that, no doubt, has Biden’s legal advisors squirming. The three-page directive orders Biden, the DOD and DHS to explain in detail their response for religious exemptions.
The court ordered Biden and company to produce detailed justification for their shot policy.
The court demands that the defendants deliver to the court:
This is a mountain of paperwork the Biden administration must now scramble to provide. And given what our clients tell us about how the military has been treating religious exemption requests, what the Biden administration is able to produce will not bode well for their defense.
The court order released October 29 has the Biden administration on its heels already …
We look forward to the administration’s response and are prayerful for a court order that will stop these shot mandates.
Meanwhile, we continue to fight for religious freedom against the shot mandates for tens of thousands of people.
Our phones continue to ring off the hook with more desperate calls for help against these unlawful shot mandates.
Our staff is often moved to tears as we speak to these desperate callers, and we pray with many of them daily. We have trained and/or contracted 80 affiliate attorneys, yet the need is still overwhelming all our resources.
Never before has Liberty Counsel been so besieged by desperate need. We need your help like never before. Please pray for our team to overcome these mandates. Help us DEFEND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM!
