“I was single, 37 and on top of the world in the best physical shape of my life as an athlete,” wrote Meghan, a nurse who worked in the COVID ICU ward since “day one” of the pandemic. Now Meghan can’t work, drive or even walk well, all because of the Pfizer jab.

Thirty minutes after receiving the first Pfizer shot, Meghan’s face went numb, then became paralyzed. By that evening, she had a 105-degree fever, extreme body pain and tremors.

Over the next two weeks, Meghan’s body revolted. The fever remained, as did the facial paralysis and pain. But new symptoms set in, severe and constant hypotension (dangerously low blood pressure), syncope (the inability of the heart to properly regulate its beating pattern), as well as severe “brain fog.”

Meghan’s hands and feet began to swell and turn blue, becoming too painful to move or use. As her hands and feet continued to swell, painful blisters started to form. Her rheumatologist diagnosed her formally with “perniosis,” a dangerous autoimmune disorder, before telling her what doctors have begun calling this symptom—“COVID toes.”

Eight months after receiving the shot, Meghan’s symptoms are worse. The burning blisters that began on her hands and feet have spread throughout her body. She no longer has use of her hands and worries that the numbness she experiences there will spread throughout her body like the blisters did. And her mental cognition has declined to the point where Meghan says she has great difficulty forming full sentences or even “finding words.”

“I’m desperate to get out of bed and be normal again,” she writes. “I need to be heard. I need help.”

Liberty Counsel has filed lawsuits against Maine, New York and several major hospitals within those states. Our plaintiffs in these cases are health care workers who not only work the front lines of the pandemic, but they are now helping people injured by the COVID shots.

Yesterday, a NY federal judge issued a temporary restraining order against the governor's mandate that bans all religious exemptions.

The thousands of health care workers we represent have seen firsthand the damage caused by these shots. Now they are being forced to take the same shots or end the career they love. THESE HEALTH CARE HEROES SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY. IT IS WRONG.

In Maine and New York, the mandates require those without the shots to be fired. And now those very same hospitals and health care facilities are finding themselves short staffed. After September 24, Lewis County General Hospital in upstate New York will be pausing its intake of mothers about to give birth because the hospital no longer has enough employees to safely operate its maternity ward as so many nurses have resigned.

To understand the stress these people face, consider this: We received a call yesterday from a distraught, sobbing mother, concerned about her daughter who is a flight attendant with United Airlines. The pressure to get the shots or be placed on an unpaid leave of absence has driven this attendant to the brink of suicide. The mother asked us to pray for her daughter. This is not the first report of suicidal thoughts—or suicide. Two nurses in South Dakota working at the same hospital both committed suicide.

We are now fielding so many calls, emails and online web forms that our staff can barely keep up. This weekend alone, we had over 1,200 requests for legal help, and Monday added more than 550 new requests.  Nearly a quarter of a million people have watched our “legal help” videos on the vaccines, and tens of thousands are depending on our legal staff to get them exempted. That number grows by hundreds, if not thousands, per day.
