CA Gov. Gavin Newsom's 324-day BAN on worship ended Saturday morning with a U.S. Supreme Court order in our case defending Pastor Ché Ahn, Harvest Rock Church, and Harvest International Ministry.

In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court issued an injunction against the radical governor, preventing him from interfering with any Californian's constitutional RIGHT to attend church. This injunction will stand pending the appeal, which may include a final trip back to the High Court later this year.

Here is the NO WORSHIP timeline for California:
March 19, 2020 – May 25: No Worship
May 26 – July 12:  No more than 100 people
July 13 – February 6, 2021: No worship

Justice Gorsuch expressed the Court's frustrations with the lower courts: "Today's order should have been needless; the lower courts in these cases should have followed the extensive guidance this Court already gave."

This was a huge win, but the case is not over. We are back at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to strike down ALL the discriminatory treatment in Gov. Newsom’s four tier system. This includes his discriminatory ban on singing and chanting – whereby he exempted Hollywood music productions.

To this point, Justice Gorsuch wrote: "But if Hollywood may host a studio audience or film a singing competition while not a single soul may enter California's churches, synagogues, and mosques, something has gone seriously awry."

Indeed, it has. But we now have received some more keys to set the captives free! Yet, there is still much work ahead, including in CA.

FREEING THE CHURCHES ONE BY ONE....

We began this epic journey in March 2020, when our client Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown was arrested for opening his church. Since that time, we have helped re-open churches and freed Christians to worship in multiple states.

Florida Freed, April 1, 2020: All church bans dropped as a result of our defense of Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown at The River at Tampa Bay Church in Tampa, FL.

Kentucky Freed, May 8, 2020: Liberty Counsel won TWO back-to-back 3-0 rulings granting injunctions against KY Gov. Andy Beshear's church bans.

Illinois Freed, May 28, 2020: All church bans dropped as a result of our defense of Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church of Chicago, and Logos Baptist Ministries of Niles, IL. The case remains pending at the Supreme Court.

Colorado Freed, December 7, 2020: All church bans dropped as a result of our defense of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.

California Freed, February 6, 2021: The Supreme Court issued an injunction preventing Gov. Newsom from banning worship until the full merits of the case may be heard.

**BUT** CA Gov. Gavin Newsom has made clear he will fight to the finish for his self-claimed ability to control God's churches. And both IL Gov. J.B. Pritzker and KY Gov. Andy Beshear have made it clear they intend to reserve the power to return to church bans at their discretion.

Further, Chicago has not rescinded its Summary Abatement notice to seize and destroy Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church's church buildings. And ME Gov. Janet Mills continues to fight. This week we will be filing several actions in Maine.

**AND** we have multiple other cases working their way through the courts and continue to consult with many hundreds of pastors and churches.

The gates of Hell are being kicked down one by one, but we still have a big fight on our hands...

...and that fight extends to the rest of the Constitution as well.

We MUST defend the Constitution – ALL of it...including resisting the Congress' illegal and unconstitutional attempt to impeach a private citizen.

The impeachment of Donald Trump is an outrageous sham. Congress has NO authority to impeach or try a private citizen.

Just like some lawless governors, some senators think they are above the law. We must remind them they are not.
 

I ask that you pray for our church cases. With God's help, we have made excellent progress in freeing the churches and Christians of America from the tyranny of lawless tyrants.

Winning the injunction against Gov. Newsom is a MAJOR win. However, our full case defending the California churches has yet to be heard by the High Court, and neither has our full case defending the Romanian immigrant churches of Illinois. In addition to these two Supreme Court cases, we still have multiple other church cases making their way through the courts.
