Anguished Iranian: "Like Flies, They Kill Us"

Jan 14, 2020

He lost his wife when Iran shot down a civilian passenger jet last week. Now this angry and grieving husband is speaking out. Showing a picture of his wife, the man in tears and rage calls the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran "criminals."

In a video on Facebook, this Iranian-Canadian man blasted the mullahs oppressing Iran:

"In order to keep power, they kill innocent people like flies. Animals have more mercy than them."

He offered his "condolences" to Iran, to "80 million people who burn and suffer because of a bunch of murderers."

You and I need to speak out in support of the Iranian people. And there's a way to make that happen right away. See below. --Mat

I hope you've seen the incredible footage coming out of Iran. Angry protesters have filled streets in Tehran and other cities throughout the nation.

They're tearing down signs with images of General Qassem Soleimani, the Quds Force (Jerusalem Force) commander and blood-thirsty terror boss whom the U.S. eliminated last week.

They're shouting, "Death to the Dictator" and "Khamenei have shame. Leave the country."

But Iran's radical Islamic rulers have responded with tear gas and, according to at least one report, live fire. Just as they did in November when the brutal regime put down protests by killing some 1,500 courageous Iranians.

President Trump tweeted out his support Saturday in Farsi.

"To the brave and suffering Iranian people: I have stood with you since the beginning of my presidency and my government will continue to stand with you," Trump wrote. "We are following your protests closely. Your courage is inspiring."

It was the most "liked" Farsi tweet in Twitter history.

And just yesterday House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy introduced a time-sensitive and critically important resolution condemning Iran's radical Islamic rulers and declaring U.S. support for Iranian protesters thirsting for freedom.

"The world is watching, and the people of Iran need to know that they are not alone in this pivotal moment," declared McCarthy.

+  +  Tell the House to stand with the brave people of Iran!

Today, I'm urging you to join me in calling on House leaders and moderate Democrats to support this vital expression of American support.

You can do that right now by using Liberty Counsel's FAX CONGRESS service. It's your way to get your message directly into the inboxes of key House members almost immediately!

The long-suffering people of Iran want freedom and need to know Americans are standing with them. The "people's House" needs to send that message now.

Brave Iranians are risking their lives in Tehran and elsewhere to protest an evil regime responsible for death and mayhem across the Middle East and beyond.

And yet Democrats have been largely silent about the anti-government protests.

Much like President Barack Obama, who ignored Iranian protesters in the streets of Tehran in 2009. He refused to support Iran's pro-freedom Green Movement.

Today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi--and many Democrats--are doing the same.

Given the chance Sunday to proclaim her clear and unequivocal support for Iranian dissidents who want freedom, Pelosi failed to do so in her rambling, almost incoherent answer during an ABC News interview.

Make no mistake: Democrats like Pelosi would rather hate Trump--a topic on which they are bold and articulate--than give support and encouragement to brave Iranians who have filled the streets of their cities to call for an end to a cruel dictatorship.

+  +  Action needed now!

It's critical that you and I act immediately. Leader McCarthy's resolution has already been referred to the House Foreign Affairs Committee where it will die a slow death unless liberty-loving Americans like you and me speak out.

The good news is that there are enough moderate Democrats--including vulnerable Democrats in districts Trump carried in 2016--to pass this measure and proclaim American support for the aspirations of the Iranian people!

And that's why I'm asking you to speak out now.

Join me today in a special, immediate campaign to FAX House leaders, members of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and moderate Democrats to support this resolution.

America needs to stand firm for freedom. And you can do that now! Stand with the Iranian people in condemning the evil Islamic regime and in support of their freedom.

Thank you for your love for liberty!

With gratitude,
