Breaking: "The Coup Has Started"

Nov 7, 2019

Fox News reported last night that the attorney for the alleged whistleblower who triggered the impeachment campaign against President Donald Trump is a radical anti-Trump activist.

The naked political agenda behind the Democrats' baseless drive to impeach the president came out yesterday. See below. —Mat

The Democrats' three-year campaign to drive President Donald Trump from office hit bottom last week--or so we thought.

In a party-line vote, the House approved 232-196 an impeachment resolution which establishes unfair rules for the “show trial” of President Trump in the House.

But then we learned from a respected Washington journalist, Paul Sperry, that the so-called "whistleblower" behind the poisonous anti-Trump allegations may well be a 33-year-old CIA analyst—a registered Democrat who worked in the past with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA director John Brennan.

In other words, an anti-Trumper.

It's being reported that Eric Ciaramella is the whistleblower who sparked the current impeachment mania. He did so by giving his hearsay account of a phone call President Trump had with Ukraine's president to House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff.

+  +  No "quid pro quo"

The whistleblower—who didn't personally listen in on the call—alleged the president threatened to withhold military aid to Ukraine unless Ukraine investigated Joe Biden and his son Hunter's alleged corrupt dealings.

The president released the transcript of the call immediately after the allegation came out. The so-called "quid pro quo" isn't on the transcript.

But that fact hasn't stopped the Democrats' impeachment train. They've blown the whistle, the train has left the station and it's roaring down the tracks.

Ciaramella, by the way, was an Obama holdover in the White House who left in 2017. He did so, journalist Sperry reports, "amid concerns about negative leaks to the media."

An anonymous former NSC official told Sperry that Ciaramella "was accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump.”

But that's not all. We now learn that Ciaramella's attorney, Mark Zaid, is himself a radical anti-Trump activist. Zaid tweeted in 2017 . . .

  • “#coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately.”
  • "#coup has started. As one falls, two more will take their place. #rebellion #impeachment."
  • "I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president."
  • "We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters."
  • "45 years from now we might be recalling stories regarding the impeachment of @realDonaldTrump. I'll be old, but will be worth the wait."

A White House spokesman reacted by telling Fox, “the whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game. It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

+  +  Stop the Witch Hunt now!

You can send that message right now using our Fax Congress service. Act now to Stop the Witch Hunt! by faxing a targeted list of Democrat and Republican members of Congress who have not taken a public position on impeachment.
