No public school should be turned into a laboratory for radical social engineering. But that is exactly what authorities at a Madison, Wisconsin, elementary school did to young, impressionable and innocent grade schoolers.
Instead of treating them with respect and dignity, the youngsters were treated like lab rats in a social experiment intended to brainwash them with LGBT propaganda. And all without the knowledge or approval of parents.
We recently obtained internal emails and other documents from Madison Metropolitan School District. It reveals an enthusiastic, pre-planned assault on children’s innocence and an end-run past concerned parents.
Join me by sending a pre-written fax to pressure the school board to get involved and discipline the teacher and the administration. See shocking details below and make your voice heard! —Mat.
Without notifying parents, school administrators at a Madison, Wisconsin, grade school crafted a careful plan to showcase a male science teacher’s “transgender” confusion to young children.
Internal records, including emails, just obtained by Liberty Counsel from Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSC), reveal school authorities almost giddy when the teacher disclosed his "transgender" status to them in March. After that, they carefully plotted his schoolwide "coming out" to staff and students at Allis Elementary School.
Students from kindergarten up to 5th grade got the jaw-dropping news on May 16 that "Mr. B"—teacher Mark Vincent Busenbark—was henceforth to be known as "Vica Steel." The announcement came via Busenbark's eight-minute "transgender coming out" video shown during school hours to every K-5th grade class.
In the video, Busenbark dresses as a woman and tells students to call him "Vica Steel," use inappropriate plural pronouns, and adopt the invented title of "Mx." He states,
"And now, let me introduce myself, anew... I am going to take my wife, Stella Steel's last name, and I am going to use, not mister, not miss, but 'mx.' So you can call me, 'Mx Steel.'.. And for my pronouns, you can call me 'they,' 'them,' and 'their.'"
And if you respectfully disagree with "transgenderism," as millions of Americans do, then you're probably motivated by "fear" and "hate," Busenbark told students.
You can tell the Madison school board what you think of social engineering like this that steals children's innocence and robs parents of their authority over their children's moral instruction. Act now to send a pre-written fax to the Madison school board urging them to take action!
As you respond, will you help Liberty Counsel defend children against aggressive LGBT indoctrination? Your gift now will make a real difference on behalf of liberty, life and the family!
+ + "Vic, this is amazing"
Two months before his school-wide announcement, Busenbark "came out" to Allis Elementary principal Sara Cutler and assistant principal Andrea L. Richichi. Both immediately became his biggest cheerleaders.
"Vic, this is amazing!" Richichi emailed Busenbark ("Vic") on March 5 after he revealed his secret to Cutler and then Richichi.
The two led creation of a detailed plan, crafted with help from Madison Metropolitan School District authorities, to introduce "Vica Steel" to teachers and then the school children. Parents only learned after the fact.
The message to teachers and students was that they were to be allies — dissent was not welcome. The school prepped staff with trite and evasive platitudes to answer what it called "hateful language." Among the scripted replies:
"Our job is to respect & honor every single human being in our school."
"We respect everyone's identity."
"I respect Mx. Steel for being who they are."
+ + Parents seen as obstacles
The internal records showed administrators think of parents as obstacles to their efforts at indoctrination. When it comes to parents who aren't "OK," the school's plan noted, "It's a lot harder to change a kid's mind when their families think differently."
And when a parent objected to the "coming out" video, Principal Cutler reportedly told her, “This is how it is” and she also said students would not be excused from class sessions used for LGBT indoctrination.
Cutler told a school district official that the parent was told: “We will not waiver [sic] in our commitment to inclusive practices in our schools."
It is outrageous that school administrators would allow a male science teacher to expose children to propaganda that promotes confusion about basic biology, and to instruct students to address him by a false name, title and pronouns.
It’s even more outrageous that administrators concocted their plan with a clear intent to do an end run around parental authority. And that they treat parents as obstacles in matters pertaining to their children’s welfare.
+ + Make your voice heard!
Parents send their children to school trusting that they will be taught academic curricula, not become participants in a teacher’s play acting—or have their concerns brushed aside by education bureaucrats.
That's why I am urging you to join me and speak out now. Help us hold accountable teachers who disregard reality. Send a fax now.
The administration and the teacher must be held accountable. You can make that happen by sending a fax to the Madison School Board.
And as you respond, I ask you to give generously to help us fight this and other battles on behalf of religious liberty, the sanctity of human life and the family.
Thank you for standing with us!
Sincerely,
