Planned Parenthood's new interim President/CEO Alexis McGill Johnson told CBS this week the abortion chain will never stop committing abortions.

"Absolutely not," Johnson replied when a CBS reporter asked if PP "would discontinue abortion services in order to make everything else that you do easier?”

Johnson insisted that abortion is “a critical part of access to full reproductive and sexual health care.” In fact, Planned Parenthood calls abortion one of its "core services." And just to show you what PP means by that, consider these numbers . . .

The abortion giant saw nearly 35 abortion patients in 2015-2016 for every one patient receiving prenatal care. In that same period, abortions outnumbered adoption referrals by a 113/1 ratio.

Planned Parenthood’s official motto proclaims "Care. No matter what." But a more honest PP slogan would be: "Abortion. No matter what."

Despite our strong objections, the trial judge is permitting Planned Parenthood’s four operatives—all private individuals—to intervene in the criminal trial against Sandra.

"Allowing a private party to meddle in criminal proceedings supposedly brought by the state of California is unprecedented and unlawful," declared Liberty Counsel's Chief Litigation Counsel, Horatio Mihet.

He adds: "Planned Parenthood's attempt to intervene in the Attorney General's case pulls the mask off the unseemly collusion between them, which is responsible for this political prosecution."

Liberty Counsel is now preparing for a major, two-week preliminary hearing in the criminal case against Sandra. That hearing starts September 3. In addition, we may also go to trial in the civil case at the end of September.

• At least two California firms were successfully prosecuted, forced to pay almost $8 million in penalties, and shuttered permanently in connection with their unlawful baby parts transactions.

• Several states and the federal government moved to defund Planned Parenthood to varying degrees.

• The United States Congress conducted an investigation and referred Planned Parenthood to law enforcement agencies for criminal prosecution in connection with its illegal profiteering from aborted baby body parts.
