Thursday, the Supreme Court made a common-sense ruling that a "Peace Cross" war memorial in Maryland does not violate the First Amendment Establishment Clause. The ruling is an encouraging example of the Court returning to the Constitution.

At the same time, it is disappointing that the Court chose not to overturn the unconstitutional precedent on the Establishment Clause known as the "Lemon Test."

And that means groups like the ACLU will press ahead in their crusade to purge America's public landscape of every cross, Ten Commandments monument, and anything else that speaks to our nation's Christian heritage.

You and I must do everything in our power to push back against these ongoing attacks. That's why Liberty Counsel filed an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the 93-year-old, 40-foot Peace Cross war memorial.

That's also the reason we're fighting the ACLU in Indiana. The radical legal group has filed two lawsuits there to remove Nativity scenes in Fulton County and Jackson County. Liberty Counsel represents both counties against the ACLU attacks.

The fact is, holiday displays can have nativity scenes, as the Supreme Court ruled many years ago. The ACLU is clearly on the wrong side of this issue, but that fact doesn't stop their tactics of intimidation!

And that's why we must continue fighting in courts across America.

We face enormous expenses in the next few months in our defense of pro-life hero Sandra Merritt. Planned Parenthood is suing her in civil court for $16 million. And its hired gun, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, is prosecuting her for her undercover journalism work—something never done to any other journalist in California’s history.

But Merritt and her colleague David Daleiden committed the "crime" of exposing Planned Parenthood’s heinous trafficking in human arms, legs, brains, eyeballs and more harvested from the babies it kills. And Planned Parenthood, with their ally Becerra, is determined to make her pay.

That's why we have an urgent need for an immediate influx of funds for our legal "war chest." And we’re fighting on many other fronts, as well.

Right now, Liberty Counsel is IN COURT against the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, the SPLC, the American Humanist Association, the National Center for Lesbian Rights and other radical activists in some of the most critical cases impacting our nation.

And we have filed important briefs to the Supreme Court in cases that have the potential to overturn the landmark 1973 abortion ruling, Roe v. Wade.
