Palestinian Authority and Hamas Government Refuse to Acknowledge Israel’s Right to Exist

When President Obama directed the U.S. Ambassador to Israel to allow a UN committee to pass an anti-Israel resolution, he betrayed Israel and America. Secretary of State John Kerry made matters worse when he ranted for more than an hour against Israel yesterday.

There are two competing factions of Muslim Arabs in Israel: the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, a recognized terrorist organization. Neither group has authority over the other. Both groups refuse to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, they want all of Israel’s land and want to exile all Jews.

As long as Hamas encourages Arab Muslim children to become suicide bombers, there can never be a two state solution. The last time Israel traded land for peace, it only increased violence. Gaza is now controlled by Hamas, who kicked out the Palestinian Authority and uses that foothold to launch missiles into Israel.

The best way to fail in the future is to continue the same failed policies of the past.
