Mat Staver is scheduled to appear on CNN Headline News today at 5:30pm ET with host Mike Galanos. They will be discussing the recent controversy over an atheist sign sponsored by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, which reads: “At this season of THE WINTER SOLTICE may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.” The sign was posted beside a nativity scene in Washington state, then stolen and dropped in a ditch.
Staver will be interviewed along with Annie Laurie Gaylor, the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s Co-President. Mike Galanos will also be taking calls from viewers. You may call 1-877-TELL-HLN (1-877-835-5456). Also look for the interview to be posted on CNN’s Prime News website at http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/prime.news/.
