Since November 6, 2023 marks 30 days following the horrific massacre of innocent civilians in Israel by Hamas terrorists, Jews and Christians are encouraging a National Day of Prayer for Israel.
Since the attack on October 7 by the Hamas terrorists, more than 1,400 Israeli citizens and foreigners have been killed, more than 5,400 Israelis have been wounded, and at least 241 Israelis and foreigners are being held hostage in Gaza.
Rabbi Yehudah Glick, a former member of the Knesset, wrote a letter that was signed by 17 members of the Knesset calling on Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, the Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, and Rabbi David Lau, the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, to call for a day of prayer this Monday, November 6.
Rabbi Tuly Weisz, founder of Israel365 News, encourages Christians to participate in Israel’s National Day of Prayer by praying Psalm 122 on Monday, “appealing to the God of Israel in heartfelt prayer for the peace of Jerusalem.”
