Tomorrow morning I will be a guest on the Dr. Phil show with our client, Linda Kantaras. We represent Linda in a case that has worldwide significance regarding transsexual rights and same-sex marriage. We won the case at the Florida appellate court last year, and a few weeks ago the Florida Supreme Court agreed to let the decision stand. The court ruled that a person's sex is not fluid but is immutably fixed at birth. Following this ruling, we are now requesting the trial judge to return custody of Linda's two children, which this judge placed with the transsexual despite the fact they wanted to remain with their mother. The Dr. Phil show will focus on custody issues and the trauma that the parents and children experience in these situations.
