Today the Freedom Federation, a federation of some of the largest faith-based organizations in the country, issued a news release affirming a commitment to the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. The diverse organizations are united in their opposition to health care policies that either fund abortion or ration care based on treating life as a mere cost-benefit commodity.

The administration's proposed health care plan endangers human life on both ends of the spectrum. Fearing that House Bill 3200 would fund abortion, members of Congress proposed amendments to ban funding abortion. Those amendments were voted down. House Bill 3200 and other proposals appear to also incorporate a cost-benefit analysis for the aged or ill.

The Freedom Federation is a federation of many national, multiethnic and transgenerational organizations and leaders working together on common interests to plan, strategize, coordinate, message and mobilize their various constituents to advance their shared core values.
