ORLANDO, FL — “Allies” will re-air tonight on the original TV series Why Israel Matters on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), which is partnering with the producers of the series, Christians in Defense of Israel (CIDI) and Liberty Counsel.

The Holocaust was a defining event in human history. The Nazi persecution of the Jews began in 1933 and led to the mass murder of six million Jews during World War II. In this week’s “Allies” episode, one of the stories features Dr. Susanna Kokkonen, director of the Christian Friends of Yad Vashem, works with denominations and ministries to build bridges between Christians and Jews. Dr. Kokkonen highlights some of the exceptional people who went against the norms of society and tried to save the Jewish people from the Holocaust.
