Michigan Hospital Reverses “Vaccine” Visitation Policy

TROY, MI – Liberty Counsel recently sent a letter to the president and CEO of Beaumont Hospital and now the hospital will no longer require the sons of their critically ill mother to take the COVID-19 injection in order to visit her.
 
The woman was admitted in poor health, unrelated to COVID, to Beaumont Hospital in Troy last week. Her sons drove hundreds of miles to visit her, assess her condition, pray for her, and anoint her with oil. These practices are part of the family’s sincerely held religious beliefs.
 
Several of her sons are also co-guardians under Michigan law, and they are responsible for her healthcare decisions.
 
However, Beaumont hospital staff demanded documentation that they received both COVID injections prior to two weeks of visitation, despite their willingness to undergo testing for COVID and wear personal protective equipment during their visit.

The family members have religious objections to taking the experimental injection.  In addition, all existing COVID “vaccines” are solely permitted under a federal Emergency Use Authorization, and the hospital may not condition visitation for patients upon visitors or patients taking an EUA-authorized COVID "vaccine." 

As a result of Liberty Counsel’s intervention, the hospital will now allow the family to visit with their mother at her bedside together today and then have regular visits after that. 

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, “Forcing any person to receive one of these COVID injections authorized for emergency use by the FDA is a violation of federal law. The COVID injections are still in the investigation and experimental phase. No medical facility may force or coerce anyone, including patient’s visitors, to take these injections. Federal law requires full informed consent.”
