Staver Prays for Judicial Branch

May 3, 2018

Mat Staver will lead a one-minute prayer for the judicial branch today at the National Observance of the National Day of Prayer in Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., at 8:36 p.m. A live stream of the evening activities will begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Boy.PrayingIt is fitting that unity is the focus of this year's call to prayer. Liberty Counsel encourages people to join in prayer. You can commit to pray by adding your name to our "Pray for America" initiative. Our nation is in desperate need of prayer. Those who commit to praying can receive a list of suggested topics for prayer and a complimentary copy of Liberty Counsel’s the Patriot's Handbook on Intercessory Prayer for the United States.

"I am honored to participate in the National Day of Prayer for the Judicial Branch," said Staver. "Our judges need wisdom and discernment to make decisions that are righteous and just. May they seek the Lord so that their decisions will align with our Supreme Judge and Lawgiver," he concluded.
