In two short days, Mat Staver will stand before the United States Supreme Court to defend the constitutionality of public displays of the Ten Commandments. Mat is in Washington, D.C., today participating in the final "moot court" practice session.
At Liberty Counsel's request, the Supreme Court has agreed to consider overruling 35 years of precedent that has given rise to the myth of "separation of church and state.” The High Court's decision in this case will set the course for the future interpretation of the First Amendment on such matters as the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Motto (In God We Trust), and other public acknowledgments of religion.
