Israel’s “Uncommon Heroes” Re-Airs Tonight

Jun 13, 2017

The third episode of the Why Israel Matters TV original series, “Uncommon Heroes,” re-airs tonight on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), which is partnering with the producers of the series, Christians in Defense of Israel (CIDI) and Liberty Counsel.

One of the stories of this week’s episode highlights the Roim Rachok program, which literally means “looking far beyond the horizons.” Roim Rachok integrates special needs soldiers into key volunteer service roles with the Israeli Defense Force. For example, some of these soldiers with autism possess exceptional focus skills and analyze visual data and decipher satellite photos in special intelligence units.

Mat Staver, Chairman of Liberty Counsel, President of Christians in Defense of Israel, and Founder and President of Covenant Journey, was a guest last night on TBN’s Praise program, hosted by Matt and Laurie Crouch, and discussed Israel and the Why Israel Matters series. Viewers also tweeted in questions for Mat.

CIDI is offering a free booklet on their website entitled, Why Israel Matters to You and Your Family. CIDI also offers a beautiful, 230-plus page, full-color book entitled Why Israel Matters, written by Mat Staver and John Aman.
