Fix the Failures in the Secret Service!
 

In 2015, a bipartisan congressional commission issued a report documenting the failures and problems in the U.S. Secret Service and recommending corrective action after a madman jumped the White House gates and was able to make it inside the White House before being stopped.

Nine years later, not only have those problems not been fixed, but the agency has also further deteriorated, resulting in an assassination attempt on former President and current presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.

The astounding security failures surrounding the attempted assassination of President Trump demand immediate action.

Congress must now immediately act to force the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and its sub-agency, the U.S. Secret Service, to immediately correct the deep and serious security failures that have spanned multiple administrations.

  1. Reform the Secret Service.

  2. End DEI and all social engineering experiments in the agency.

  3. Fire Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.

Dear Member of Congress,

I was horrified when I learned about the assassination attempt on President Trump. We need to act immediately to protect President Trump and vigorously investigate.

We cannot leave the safety of President Trump — or any presidential candidate — up to a random turn of the head. Even after the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, there are so many open questions regarding security that could leave President Trump vulnerable. That is not good enough.

This was a MASSIVE failing of incompetent security staff, and it needs to be addressed immediately, not in the future. At a minimum, the shooter should never have been able to climb up to the roof of a building in range with a clear line of sight of the person being protected.

I ask you to fight to completely reform the Secret Service, STOP DEI, and if necessary, strip funding from the federal agencies that led to this near tragic moment, and hold accountable those directly responsible for these catastrophic failures.

Please do everything in your power to stop these attacks on Trump and hold accountable those responsible for inciting violence and for failing to stop that violence.
